Site Plan

This is the site plan which the proposed cabin must sit upon. Its set on a fictional mountain in a fictional city. The city's CBD is off to the right lying on the river.

When you zoom in on the mountain, you begin to see how the roads connect through it, how the rivers and streams flow across it and wherebouts the topography might vary. This can be analysed closer.

This sun path diagram shows how the sun will fall upon the site during the different months.

This shows the direction of the prevailing wind.

This is showing the possible places for noise to emanate from. The main causes are the roads and the river or streams.

Here is the resultant topography of the site. It shows three distinct hills and the resultant land formation.

This is the chosen site for the houses and cabins as it has an interesting topography which can also vary to accomodate for all the houses. Its close to the roads and river while remaining on the north side of the central peak, meaning that it will still recieve sunlight and not be hidden in the mountains shadow.

This picture shows the neighbouring houses to the cabin and their sites.
